Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Software Engineer Practitioner to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.

NOTE:

  • Onsite

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in an Agile Software development environment to deliver quality state-of-the-art software solutions for cloud-connected in-vehicle modules working on CAN/Ethernet networks
  • Analyze and decompose complex software systems and feature functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for testability and devise test scenarios to ensure complete coverage
  • Develop software tools, test libraries, and test suites using Python to validate feature requirements
  • Maintain automated test systems, triage daily test failures, and provide timely fixes
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews, follow and uphold best practices in the development process

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ year experience in test automation and tools development
  • 2+ year experience in Python development and object-oriented design
  • Experience in maintaining automated execution of large number of tests and triaging test results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks - Experience with Shell scripting and Linux development environment
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization
  • Experience with embedded system testing
  • Experience with database and web application development
  • Detail-oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
