Job Description

Reporting to the President you will bring a passion for sales and recruiting with a commitment to customer service coupled with a strong internal drive, and a result orientated personality. Your dual responsibilities will give you the opportunity to cultivate business, build relationships with clients and recruit to fill their needs. Your success is limited only to your effort and your desire.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and enhance business relationships with clients and candidates, working closely with the internal team on best practices to obtain new clients and candidates
  • Develop and grow a client base to secure the receipt of new orders on a continual basis
  • Negotiating client contracts and candidate offer letters
  • Qualify orders and discuss with Recruitment team to maximize efficiency of internal resources
  • Work with Recruitment Manager to recruit candidates for orders received and assigned
  • Build a diverse technical pipeline of qualified candidates and maintaining relationships with those candidates
  • Represent MEDA with professionalism and integrity, doing business the right way without compromising the MEDA core values at all times
  • Additional Human Resource activities include presenting offers, and completing orientations of new hires

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience (account management and recruiting)
  • Manufacturing industry experience in sales and recruiting required
  • Demonstrated strong relationship building and outside sales skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent listening, problem solving, and negotiating skills are required
  • Able to manage and prioritize your workload
  • Able to work independently as well in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals
  • Computer proficient in MS Office, Internet and Applicant Tracking Systems (PC Recruiter preferred)
  • Able to work flexible hours when required in order to meet clients and candidate schedules
  • Ability to attend meetings in Canada effective start date
