Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Program Manager (BEV) to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.

NOTE:

  • Hybrid
  • Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Global Power Electronics, eMotors, & EDM system and component execution for a defined system or set of sub-components
  • Lead cross-functional team and guarantee all deliverables & targets identified in the approved initiative over the product development lifecycle
  • Single point of contact for Product Team members for the given scope of work
  • Manages all aspects of the assigned program to ensure cost, timing, quality and performance achievement
  • Ensure program budget achievement by identifying all possible efficiencies vs. approved business case
  • Ensure procedures, best practices and methodologies application according to the required standards
  • Lead program documentation creation – monitoring & updating in line with Global Powertrain (Propulsion Systems) Development Process
  • Ensure product readiness to support approved launches while defining appropriate timing milestones for the project
  • Leading change review meetings
  • Reports programs status, risk management and issue resolution
  • Identifies program requirements and assembles cross-functional department information/data
  • Co-lead proactive Risk Management tasks with QM and Platform team (i.e. LUR)
  • Supports the technical reviews/evaluations in respect to program targets/milestones
  • Supports Global Purchasing and Global Manufacturing strategies
  • Leads the responses to investigate/action bulletins related to product/process changes
  • Coordination and implementation of Value Optimization and Quality improvement activities
  • Manages Product lifecycle, including support of Supply Chain and Logistics issues to guarantee production continuity

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent) Engineering
  • Minimum of five years experience in product development engineering with at least three years of program management experience with an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Strong cross-functional team management skills along with superior written and oral skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and prepare presentations for Director/VP-Level leadership

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Program management or engineering experience with Electrical components
  • Advanced degree in Engineering (MSMEE or MSEE) or Business Administration (MBA) or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or other training equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to and prepare presentations for Director/VP level leadership
