Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Engineering (FNV Analytics) to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.

NOTE:

  • Hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Measure the quality of products in the field based on connected data
  • Measure how often black screens/system resets happen in the field such as Bluetooth disconnection, CarPlay connection failures, etc. across software builds / vehicle lines / etc.
  • Proactively drive down warranty claims
  • Take requests from various internal clients, developing solutions using data from a variety of sources and presenting results in an appropriate format
  • Identifying/validating the upstream data quality issues before building analysis models
  • Agile product development environment, including stand-up meetings, regular sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
  • Work within a fast-paced and high-volume data-processing environment, where quality and attention to detail are vital
  • Interrogating data for quality assurance before building advanced data models

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Fluent writing performance-tuned SQL code (MS SQL Server or equivalent alternatives)
  • Advanced programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python (preferred), R, C#
  • Advanced experience in data extraction, transform/load processes with a variety of data types (structured, semi-structured) and protocols (e.g. API call using oauth mechanisms)
  • Advanced Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI etc.)
