We are recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Engineering (FNV Analytics) to join our team supporting our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Measure the quality of products in the field based on connected data
- Measure how often black screens/system resets happen in the field such as Bluetooth disconnection, CarPlay connection failures, etc. across software builds / vehicle lines / etc.
- Proactively drive down warranty claims
- Take requests from various internal clients, developing solutions using data from a variety of sources and presenting results in an appropriate format
- Identifying/validating the upstream data quality issues before building analysis models
- Agile product development environment, including stand-up meetings, regular sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
- Work within a fast-paced and high-volume data-processing environment, where quality and attention to detail are vital
- Interrogating data for quality assurance before building advanced data models
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 5 years of related experience
- Fluent writing performance-tuned SQL code (MS SQL Server or equivalent alternatives)
- Advanced programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python (preferred), R, C#
- Advanced experience in data extraction, transform/load processes with a variety of data types (structured, semi-structured) and protocols (e.g. API call using oauth mechanisms)
- Advanced Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI etc.)
