Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Billing Clerk / Inventory Control with a background in construction. If you take pride in your work and ownership of your responsibilities, have a dedication to accuracy and desire to learn and grow this is the opportunity for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating billing and managing ongoing jobs to ensure time and materials are accurately captured and invoiced to clients
  • Work with Area Manager to track job performance with budgets; ensuring projects do not go over quoted amounts (time and material)
  • Work with customers and yard staff to coordinate delivery and pick up of product from work sites
  • Monitor returning product to ensure everything is returned per paperwork
  • Ensure product is returned in stored in the proper location
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts to ensure client orders can be fulfilled
  • Build relationships with customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Send out invoices to clients, ensure payments received on time

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of billing or inventory control experience. Preference given to candidates with construction industry experience in invoicing/billing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, willing to support all areas of the company if needed. Take pride in the quality of your work
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; demonstrated experience working with customers (internal or external)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Experience in inside sales and customer relationships an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlook ups, formula's)

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education
