On behalf of our reputable, and stable Energy Industry client; we are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including how fluid drives and torque converters operate
- Understanding the principles of hydraulics and fluid mechanics as they pertain to fluid drives and torque converters
- Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble fluid drives and torque converters - including; machining parts, replacing worn components, and ensuring precise assembly
- Machinery maintenance, specifically with fluid drives and torque converters
- Meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specification
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of practical experience in automotive or industrial in a machine repair / build environment
- Must have experience with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings/prints in order to build and repair large parts
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently
- Precision in performing maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and safety
- Ability to clearly communicate issues, solutions and instructions to colleagues or customers
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable in a shop environment
